Senate Bows To Militants' Threat, Calls

 For Release of Amnesty Fund

Nigerian Senate on Thursday has urged the Minister of Finance , Mrs. Kemi Adeosun to release N15bn balance for Amnesty Program based on threats by ex-militants over non-payment.

The Senate asked its Committee on Niger Delta to investigate fictitious names included as Abia and Akwa Ibom state natives in Amnesty Program me.

NEW YORK (AP) — AlphaBay, the  now-shuttered online marketplace that authorities say traded in illegal drugs, firearms and counterfeit goods, wasn’t all that different from any other e-commerce site, court documents show. Not only did it work hard to match buyers and sellers and to stamp out fraud, it offered dispute-resolution services when things went awry and kept a public-relations manager to promote the site to new users.
